The current shareholding structure of TAURON Polska Energia S.A.
The share capital of TAURON Polska Energia S.A. stands at PLN 8,762,746,970 and is split into 1,752,549,394 shares with a nominal value of PLN 5 per share, including 1,589,438,762 ordinary AA series bearer shares and 163,110,632 registered BB series shares.
The State Treasury holds 526,848,384 shares in TAURON Polska Energia S.A., which represents 30.06% of the Company's share capital and votes at the Company's General Meeting, KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. holds 182,110,566 shares in TAURON Polska Energia S.A., which represents 10.39% of the Company's share capital and votes at the Company's General Meeting, Nationale-Nederlanden Open Pension Fund holds 88,742,929 shares in TAURON Polska Energia S.A., which represents 5.06% of the Company's share capital and votes at the Company's General Meeting, Other individual and institutional investors and institutional investors hold 954,847,515 shares in TAURON Polska Energia S.A., which represents 54.49% of the Company's share capital and votes at the Company's General Meeting.
According to the Articles of Association of TAURON Polska Energia, Polish State Treasury is entitled to appoint and dismiss half of the members of the Supervisory Board if the State Treasury holds 25% of total votes in TAURON. The number of votes of the remaining shareholders at the general meeting is limited to 10% even if their share in the share capital is higher.
